I haven't updated that much in a while. I have wanted to write a blog, but every time I get in the mood to do it I would pause and think, well, no one reads it. I thought about continuing my blog on my wordpress account, but I'm not sure yet if I want to delete my LJ account yet. So, I'm cross posting this.
So I'm working on another move. I'm trying to sell a lot of my things--90% of that being books. And I'm going to try and craigslist my desk, since the cost of shipping it to California would be as much as just buying a new desk.
I'm also trying to re-search my mind for the projects I wanted to start. I had been saving this HUGE list of art ideas for illustatrations and characters, etc, and I was storing them in this one ipod/iphone app. However, when I installed the latest firmware update, everything was erased. So now that list is gone and I'm trying to re-record all of that in google docs or in some physical format. Paper, however, tends to be bad because I always lose it. I just wish the ipod touch had editing capabilities for google docs. Maybe that will be in the new update? I found out there will be cut and paste! (hooray!) Ipod touch users need to pay ten dollars, but I think that's fair.
Speaking of apple, I had a dream last night that I bought a mac book pro! Now, I have this Windows Vista gaming laptop that I bought last summer, so I don't really have any reason to get a mac. I had flirted with the idea of getting something more portable, though. If I had known this would be so heavy, I would have just gotten the 17 inch book instead of the 15.4 inch. There are some flaws when it comes to trying to type, watch video, and work in 3d/2d applications like 3ds Max or Photoshop. It's not horrible, but I do need to make sure certain conditions are made so that it will actually work smoothly. I guess the best I can do is try to keep using it and extend it's gaming life as far as I can.
An eee pc or a small (non-pro) mac book would be nice. I'm not rich, however, so I'm going to be waiting a long time before I get a mac or eee pc...or anything tech, actually. Some people use shopping as therapy...I browse amazon/ebay/etc and get gadgets. That's how I have a PSP, a DS, and an ipod touch right now...along with an overload of accessories. Next time I get that urge, I'll just play games nonstop. Although last December I bought a ridiculous amount of video games. What I'm thinking is sticking to my mission of actually FINISHING those games.

I forgot to post these on my blog. I'm planning on getting a new computer soon. Very excited at the idea of being able to lay down a stroke or open render settings without my computer crashing! :)
My Traditional Animation I Reel
Okay, I'm looking at this today and I can see a ton of things wrong with this. First off, the box lid that opens doesn't bounce when it falls back. It just snaps into place. The Cat's tail bounces twice instead of once...actually I knew that almost a year ago because the teacher pointed it out and I never had the time to go into the lab and fix it. I won't have the papers anymore, though, so all of the work in this is uneditable. There are probably a bunch of other problems (such as the Robot's arm snapping), but honestly, enough complaining:
Portrait Bust
Not much to say about this one. It was just a head study from a model. Even though one teacher said I had a stylized way of depicting her, I don't see it that much. Also, all of the details seem to be washed out.
Victorian Cyborg:
Um...I'm destroying this thing tomorrow. I know! Horrible! I'm leaving SF soon, however, and I need to clear out my locker...I have no where to put this thing, and I never had the chance to hollow it out and bake it. So, I'm just going to have to destroy it. The bust I'm also planning on just leaving on a shelf somewhere. I might re-design her, though, and re-model her in 3dMax.

I was trying out blogger for a while, which is why I haven't posted anything. I didn't put up that much, maybe a total of 10 posts in the past few months. Anyway, I decided I like livejournal far more. So I'm switching back here.
